Koley Jessen Welcomes a New Wave of Talent as 12 New Associates Join the Firm

Koley Jessen is excited to announce the addition of 12 new attorneys as part of its annual fall class, marking a significant step in the continued growth of the firm, now with over 120 lawyers. Eleven of these individuals are rejoining us after successfully completing our Summer Associate program and passing the bar this summer, while one brings a year of hands-on legal experience.

Joining the Corporate Department are:

Carson Drake – Drake received her J.D. (magna cum laude) and MBA from Creighton University, and her B.S. in Business Administration (cum laude) from Babson College.

Ethan Hoogeveen – Hoogeveen holds his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law (cum laude) and a B.S. in Business Management and Economics from the University of Utah.

Taylour Kumpf – Kumpf received a J.D. from Creighton University School of Law (cum laude) and a B.A. in English from Boston College.

Lukas Schnepel – Schnepel received his J.D. from The University of Iowa College of Law (with high distinction). He has a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (summa cum laude).

Nathan Sheeley – Sheeley earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (with highest distinction).

Joining the Employment Department are:

Jacob Bishop – Bishop holds a J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law (with distinction) and a B.A. in Political Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Marin Coughlin Janecek – Coughlin Janecek received her J.D. (magna cum laude) as well as a B.A. in Philosophy (magna cum laude) from Creighton University.

Joining the Estate, Succession, and Tax Department are:

Haley Faust Leise – Leise earned her J.D. (with distinction) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she also earned a B.S. in Business Administration (with honors and high distinction) with a concentration in Management.

Simon Hovis – Hovis earned his J.D. from The University of Iowa College of Law (with high distinction) and also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (with highest distinction).

Joining the Litigation Department are:

Nathan Erickson – Before joining Koley Jessen, Erickson clerked for Justice John R. Freudenberg of the Nebraska Supreme Court. He holds a J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law (with high distinction) and a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Utah Valley University (cum laude).

Kaci Jumps – Jumps received both her J.D. (with distinction) and B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Nathan Turner – Turner earned both a J.D. (magna cum laude) and a B.S. in Accounting and Data Analytics (summa cum laude) from Creighton University.
