Mike Cox's practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation in both state and federal court.

He has litigated a variety of cases, including contract disputes, securities matters, intellectual property matters, product liability matters, construction disputes, bad faith insurance disputes, employment matters, ERISA matters, negligence actions, business torts and disputes in the election industry. He also has a specialty in representing media clients in First Amendment matters, including matters related to reporter privilege, defamation, false light invasion of privacy, access to public proceedings and public records, internet and e-commerce matters, and intellectual property communication and media.

Mike has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2003 for his work in First Amendment Law.
