James Cann’s litigation and dispute resolution practice focuses on civil, commercial, and family law. For nearly two decades, he has appeared as lead counsel for businesses and individuals to pursue or defend cases that require thorough preparation and careful trial presentations on complex issues to judges and juries.

In addition to having extensive experience handling lawsuits involving business, contracts, negligence, insurance, real estate, construction, bankruptcy, workers compensation, and other issues, his practice includes advocating for clients in family law cases involving divorce, separation, property division, custody, and estate and probate proceedings. He also regularly represents commercial and residential property owners in tax valuation protests and appeals. James’ skill in getting disputed matters resolved, either by trial, mediation, or arbitration, has proven to be valuable to many clients over the course of his career.
