Koley Jessen Named Deal of the Year Winners by M&A Atlas Awards
Two separate deals in which Koley Jessen represented the respective sellers were named “Deal of the Year” in their respective categories by the Global M&A Network for The M&A Atlas Awards in 2018.
The sale of Nebraska-based Tecumseh Poultry dba Smart Chicken to Tyson Foods, Inc. was named “Americas Consumer - Food and Beverage Deal of the Year.” The sale of WESTliving's nine senior living communities to MBK Senior Living was a finalist in the “Americas Real Estate M&A Deal of the Year.”
“We’re honored that the work we are doing has received this national attention,” says Mike Hupp, President of Koley Jessen and Chair of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice. “These two deals were also finalists for the M&A Advisor Awards this year and we are grateful to our clients for the opportunity to handle these sophisticated sales.”
“The winners represent vision and excellence for executing transactions in an increasingly competitive market-place. We wish them continued success for the year ahead.” Shanta Kumari, CEO and Global Group Editor, at Global M&A Network.
Covering North and South Americas and having evaluated countless deals from the mid to large market segments, the winners of the awards are officially honored at the 10th Annual Networking Gala Celebrations on November 29 in New York.
